Ethernity’s patented ENET technology resolves the challenges of carrier-grade performance in virtualized networks.
An architecture that attaches one or more All Programmable ACE-NICs via PCIe to a COTS server allows the integration of Carrier Ethernet MEF-compliant networking and routing, security and tunnelling offload into modern virtualized software platforms. The architecture provides a scalable data path up to 240Gbps and carrier-grade IP traffic aggregation, SLA support, OAM, routing, multi-protocol interworking, and security.

The solution is based on Ethernity’s All Programmable Intelligent NIC, equipped with a single FPGA performing the Carrier Ethernet networking functions and merging those functions with virtual networking functions running on the same server .

By merging the Carrier Ethernet functions with routing, tunnelling and security offload, Ethernity supports the trends associated with moving the cloud to the aggregation point. Ethernity’s solution allows to utilise deployed servers as Ethernet aggregation platforms in conjunction with high performance vRouter, vBRAS, and vFirewall. At Ethernity, we resolve performance, security, latency, and power consumption issues to provide the best of both telecom worlds: virtualized and traditional with guaranteed QoE.
