Networking SW Engineer – Position #1201 (Lod, Israel):

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
  • Review code and resolve bugs
  • Participate in upstream development
  • Draft design documents
  • Improve our testing infrastructure and implement features
  • Lead and participate in design discussions
  • Attend conferences
  • Assist in RPM packaging and delivery


Minimum qualifications:

  • C/C++ experience of at least 5 years
  • Strong Linux development environment skills
  • Knowledge of Linux kernel
  • Strong background in IP networking theory and technologies (switching/ routing etc.)
  • Good understanding of data-structures, algorithms, object-oriented design and multi-threaded/ multi-core programming
  • Ability to cope with existing code for new additions and improvement purposes
  • Capable in analysing and designing complex systems


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in NFV/SDN
  • Experience in OpenFlow
  • Experience in L2/L3/L4 networking
  • Comfortable communicating and collaborating with upstream community members outside of the team and company
  • Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
  • Familiarity with Aricent/ Ipinfusion/ Metaswitch stacks
  • Experience with open source projects
  • Experience in support processes and/or customer facing activities
